This grain gives breads and pastries a unique deep and rich flavor profile. It can be used to make 100% rye bread; a healthy, dense and moist loaf of bread. It can also be combined with wheat to add flavor complexity to sourdough, pizza dough or cookies.
One cup of rye flour contains 30g of fiber and 20g of protein. It also contains many vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin B and E, manganese, phosphorous and iron.
